About Connor Murphy

  Born & raised in Fergus Falls, Minnesota. Currently living in Las Vegas, Nevada. Graduated from M-State with an A.F.A. in Music Spring 2016, and graduated from MSUM with a B.A. in Theatre Arts, emphasizing in Musical Theatre, Acting, Technical Design, a B.A. in Psychology and a Minor in Theatre Dance Fall 2020.

  Connor has experience in Melodrama, Shakespeare, Improv, Dance/Movement, Stage Combat, Film, Set Construction, and Costume Design. Connors most recent productions were the Las Vegas Mens Chorus Christmas concert December 2022 which included choreography training through Arther Murray's school of dance, and currently is a swing actor for The REV Theatre's youth season.

  You might also recognize Connor around ND, MN, and Las Vegas as the drag performer Asher Alexander. Connor has been featured in film for his roles as Shawn in the Indie film Trial By Fire which premiered at the Tampa Bay Underground Film Festival Summer 2017, and as a background actor in End of The Rope with Canticle Productions which premieres Fall 2023.
